Commissions

Commissions are currently closed, but an announcement will be made prior to the opening of reservation slots — there will be a maximum of three (3) open when I first start taking them.

Until commissions are open, a list of prices and rules have been posted for your convenience. Should my prices change, I will make an announcement at least a week ahead of time. (Updated June 16, 2023.)

Commission Rules

  • Most artwork provided is digital format with basic cell shading. You can request different shading, but it will change the final value of the product.
  • I reserve the right to refuse any commission request brought to me for any reason. I do not do yaoi or hardcore.
  • The larger and more complex the image, the more it will cost.
  • All prices are in USD ($) and payment will be taken via PayPal (I do not accept checks or “shout outs” as methods of payment).
  • Good work is rarely done quickly and cheaply; quick work is rarely good and cheap; and cheap work is rarely good. You will get what you pay for. Period.
  • A minimum of 50% of the final price is due before I will start working on the commission; this is non-refundable, so please make sure you want to commission me. Once the final work is finalized (you will receive an image covered with watermarks), I will send you the finished product without watermarks when I receive the remaining half of payment. I do not care if other artists had a different policy for payment, this is mine.
  • If you have a specific date in mind for your commission to be completed, please be sure to mention that first and I will let you know if I can meet your deadline. I will not take commissions with impossible deadlines (such as, overnight for any commission, etc.)
  • Descriptions and visual references are greatly appreciated, but please don’t ask me to infringe on another artist’s work.
  • At present, all commissions that I do are meant for single-use only (no distribution, no NFTs, no AI, and no reselling by default). If you wish to discuss licensing and mass production, please see the Licensing page for more details.
  • Please don’t ask for “free art”, or art just for exposure and “shout outs”. My Extras section will contain all the free art I’m willing to part with.

Prices and Reasoning

Organoids: Fully body starts at $60; busts start at $40

  • Full color and digitally-drawn with bare background; PSD file included
  • Sizes begin at 1000 x 1024 pixels (about 1 million pixels square), but can go up to 2500 x 2500 pixels.
  • Body types are normally dinosaur (Zeke), Eastern dragon (Specula), and Western dragon (Shadow/Ambient), but other animals can be used if references are provided
  • Please be specific with the color palette, any markings, and animals. More complex designs will cost more due to additional time needed to render.

Busts: Starting at $35 for black and white; $55+ for color

  • Digitally-drawn (from the neck up) with a single-color or gradient background by default for colored versions; PSD files can be made available for extra
  • Please be specific with the character’s design and expression, providing references if possible. Complex detailing and will cause the price to increase by at least $5.
  • Previews will be shown fully-covered in watermarks. Watermarks will not be removed until full payment has been given.

Half-Body: Starting at $60 for black and white; $75+ for color

  • Digitally-drawn (from the waist up) with a single-color or gradient background by default for colored versions; PSD files can be made available for extra
  • One character per commission (additional characters will increase the cost by $25+ based on complexity)
  • Please be specific with the character’s design, providing references and mannerisms, if possible. Complex detailing will cause the price to increase by at least $10.
  • Backgrounds will add an additional $15 regardless of color preference
  • Previews will be shown fully-covered in watermarks. Watermarks will not be removed until full payment has been given.

Full-Body: Starting at $75 for black and white; $90+ for color

  • Digitally-drawn with a single-color or gradient background by default for colored versions; PSD files can be made available for extra
  • One character per commission (additional characters will increase the cost by $45+ based on complexity)
  • Please be specific with the character’s design, providing references and mannerisms, if possible. Complex detailing will cause the price to increase by at least $20.
  • Complex backgrounds will add an additional $15 regardless of color preference
  • Previews will be shown fully-covered in watermarks. Watermarks will not be removed until full payment has been given.

Character Sheet: Starting $175+ (in full color only)

  • Digitally-drawn with a single-color or gradient background by default for colored versions; PSD files can be made available for extra
  • One character per commission — front, side, and 3/4 view in addition to 3 or 4 head shots
  • Please be specific with the character’s design, providing references and mannerisms, if possible. Complex detailing will cause the price to increase by at least $35.
  • Previews will be shown fully-covered in watermarks. Watermarks will not be removed until full payment has been given.
