Background: This work was actually part of an in-class project. We were supposed to take a single letter (the letter "X" in this instance) and manipulate it in Illustrator CS3 to make a piece that conveyed either a sense of isolation, a sense of contrast, or freestyle. After several tries and a lot of messing around with layouts, I came up with this...and the professor seemed to approve.
