Background: This is actually a character from my 2009 National November Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) attempt. Without giving too much away, Markess is the agent for a secret organization that specializes in protecting society from...well, maybe you'll find out. Someday...

I was given a chance to work on a bit of character design and get in a bit of practice on linework techniques, which I'm still not happy with. For the record, no pen tool was used; the lines are all drawn using a graphics tablet.
