Background: Originally, this started as a sketch in pencil for my friend on deviantART. She was feeling a little down, so I decided to surprise her by making a work involving her fursona. One thing lead to another and the sketch wound up in Photoshop for inking and my longest coloring session to date.

She was definitely surprised...and (even better) she was happy with it.
